At Scrummy Mummy's Cakes (previously Yummy Mummy's) I bake and create cakes that not only look lovely but taste SCRUMMY too. All cakes are made with the freshest possible ingredients from my farm kitchen in Lower Almondsbury. I only use unsalted butter and my eggs come from my own free-range chickens and ducks, resulting in the tastiest cakes ever!

Disaster averted, just!

Party season is in full swing in our house and I am busy,busy,busy! I worked until midnight last night making a very intricate toadstool cake for my daughter's party this Saturday, and then to my horror, some how the top had detached itself from the bottom. Not really sure sure what or WHO was responsible but I have spent this morning patching it back together. This is the finished cake:-

Funky fairy

Today I have put together a two tier topsy turvy cake, topped off with the funky fairy that I shared with you the other day. The cake was airbrushed in electric pink and gold and it was great fun to do. We will be transporting it down to Devon on Sunday morning where we will be celebrating Gracie's 4th birthday on the beach at Beer.

I have also put the finishing touches to a Thomas the Tank christening cake which I will upload tomorrow when it has been collected.
